
Ky-mani is an emerging star with the release of his untitled third album. Ky-mani is the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis champion) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who took home numerous titles) the 26th of February, 1976 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". For a man who lives up to his name, every album and every trip to the Caribbean is an experience. The Journey was his first music venture. He had a broad vision and was looking for his own niche, roaming the musical spectrum to discover his numerous talent. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae record. It brought out Kymani's mature self. The Journey and Many More Roads were well received worldwide, thus solidifying Ky-mani as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae overlaid and hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
